Increase your protein intake

Protein is a good way to tip the scales in your favour. It is effective for weight gain, and provides long-lasting energy. Salmon, eggs and lean meats like chicken can help you fulfill your daily requirement of protein in a wholesome manner. Soy products, beans, bananas and smoothies are good non-meat options for the same.

Add calories to each meal

It’s important that you eat more calories than you burn on a daily basis. Increase the good carbs in your diet by adding starchy vegetables, brown rice, oats, potatoes, green leafy vegetables and breads to it. Milk and fresh juice also help in adding on extra calories in between meals.

Increase your physical activity

Having adequate movement calls for a feeling of frequent hunger as food is digested at a faster rate. Physical activity like jogging, running, riding a bike, skipping rope, jumping, or doing body-weight exercises like squats, lunges and pushups will increase your appetite. These will make you use the fuel you feed your body to better itself.
